Ai slop is not even needed for fake support of Trump. I am on the other side of the Iron Curtain. Maybe I get worried about anyone I know in America who may still have a job they need and start to become more superficially polite cyclically.

It is not cowardice, but butterfly effects and all. One plays it by the ear wrt actions that one does not want impacting anyone else. I really cannot tell how bad it is over there.

You are on the ground. I live half way across the globe, but have people I worry about every day. Low grade worry, but still. I don’t contact them anymore since the US seems like the old USSR best case. Nazi Germany would be worse.

Or maybe it is not even that. My thinking on these things is not very clear often. Maybe it is just saving one’s energy for conflict prioritizing what is immediately relevant. But while sexual harassment is always relevant to the conflict I am in, I had been ignoring it and trying to keep the conflict focused on less distressing stuff. However, I have finally had enough.

And this week I saw the story about the 13 yo Trump assaulted and whether it is E Jeanne or this child, sexual harassment, assault etc really anger me as in every part of the world I witness women’s rights steadily degrade daily without exciting much more than a yawn and a shrug. I have personally seen that for 15 14 years and 8 months in two countries (the US and India).

This 13yo is one of the most sympathetic Epstein victims I have read about. They all are. But I am a “boy-girl” myself - apparently a reference to being a tomboy - and felt really bad for this kid who seems to have lead a pretty hard life. And as much outrage fatigue as had set in, as with the first time I read about E Jeanne, I was disgusted. I believe the kid.

My main formula re: what I put on my journal (I.e. what you do not need a DU account to access is) tied to sexual harassment, stalking and other complaints I am filing wrt the last 14.66 years.
