We have a country that elected a guy who declared bankruptcy multiple times, had to dissolve his own foundation, and was convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records thinking that he would lower prices and lead to a golden age.

People who believe in absurd things will vote for absurd candidates as we saw in 2024... so I think we can lose the sense of surprise and disbelief over it.
