Real people are concerned about democracy, law enforcement actually playing by legitimate rules, government free of corruption, respect for the rule of law, stable regulatory environment, a government that doesn't operate on bribes and payback, a justice department that doesn't enforce petty vengeances, etc.

Everyone I know in *business* outside of a few right-wing sole proprietorships is aghast at the instability and uncertainty in today's business environment. Impossible to plan when you never know who's going to just hit with a tariff or a trump lawsuit/shakedown.

Usually there's a pretty strong Republican voice in the corporate world but not these days. Fine, maybe the boardroom is happy enough, but the rest of the company is pulling their hair out daily.

Gas and egg prices are what the trumpies figure is the only thing that could actually hurt them, though, because magats don't care about all the things I mentioned above. But they do care about their own wallet....
