Grassley thought that Smith would not reveal what was in those records because it was something he didn't ewant to reveal because it would show the investigation was wrong and trump did not wrong. So they ran to get them snd show them to everyone. Well just like with the epstein files it shows trump was guilty of some of the worse crimes.

They always think it's our side hiding things and then subpoena them only to find evidence of wrong doing by their guy. You'd think they would learn. ( glad they don't though)
