This is good, but it doesn't mean I'll let up on our leadership. They seem to be responding to pressure which is good. It'll get harder to hold the line but we should. We must resist the temptation to declare victory prematurely and undercut the very real tactical progress we've made.

We can't quit the medicine before we're cured. We can't stop until ICE is taken to heel.

Our political chemotherapy must continue until all of this tumor is expunged from the body politic.

Thank you Sen. Schumer for keeping up the pressure. Thank you, Democratic caucus for recognizing the humanity of the cause and the urgency of the moment.
