Screw the notion that they need to keep their traps shut about universal health care because passage is currently out of reach.

How the hell do they think political will for an action is built?? By shutting up about it as and just sort of hoping political will builds itself???

It is long past time for our electeds to LEAD. Stop with the asinine polling to formulate some mealy-mouthed agenda that inspires NO ONE; but is "safe" because it doesn't stretch our collective imagination or expand the realm of the possible.

Something I wrote back in 2018 is just as true today.
