Our grocery store tries to carry as much organic as possible- as although it’s a little town, rich retirees have moved into nearby gated communities and lots of health conscious artists also live in surrounding areas - on divided up old ranches. Many want organic food.

Our grocery store is hurting -so many from the gated community donated $5000 each to keep our store open. Higher grocery prices are going to make it harder for independent grocery stores to succeed. Our town initially raised $100,000 for this woman to open our grocery store about 6 yrs or so ago.

Stock up on groceries this week because any new stock will probably be a dollar or more higher.
A regular old Hershey’s bar which is way thinner than old bars - just went up to $2.00 in one week. Luckily, in the summer the woman who owns our grocery store will carry home grown vegetables grown in the community and by her. We live in ranch land but beef prices keep going up too.
