I once went to an estate sale there. I had to stop at the entrance gate and explain what I was doing in North Oaks. I was allowed in. I found nothing of interest to me at the estate sale, which was actually a fake estate sale, operated by one of the main antique shops in the Twin Cities. Prices were full retail on all of the items.

Nice houses, there, though. Fortunately, I didn't run into any of the HOA Karens in the development.

That was the only time I was ever on the streets of North Oaks.
