They know he is not long for this world, and they are finally seeing that their 'messiah' is nothing of the kind. They are embarrassed and upset that he is not being enough of a racist here at home and he is not getting rid of 'the other' that is doing nothing more than actually contributing as opposed to the more... pasty... constituents who are trying to get rid of them.

They can sense what is coming. (At least what had damned well better be coming.)

Sorry, sycophants, you are part of the problem. The fact that you think we are going to just let you back into the society of human beings is pretty darn funny.
