That's different than "supply and demand".

The Philippines has a very low gas tax, as do many states in the USA. In addition, the minimum wage here in the Philippines is equal to $1.20 an hour. Talk about affordability.

More than the price is the fear we may not have fuel at any price if the Strait remains closed. That would put us in the same place as Cuba is in right now.
