This War on Iran, for instance.... he described as "An Excursion" when the word was supposed to be "An Intervention"

He doesn't understand the difference between the two words, an that usually when one uses the term Excursion, it means:

A usually short journey made for pleasure; an outing. A roundtrip in a passenger vehicle at a special low fare. A group taking a short pleasure trip together.
