(4,910 posts)just by all of his behavior!
(His political posturing about supporting Christians not-withstanding--
he supports a Christian theocracy over Democracy,
and he supports far-right 'Christian nationalism' as a political movement---)
but as for the actual words of Jesus in the New Testament,
I can't think of a single instance where they are in agreement!
(except perhaps "Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's" (Matthew 22:21, NKJV)
Numerous bible prophecies suggest that the Antichrist will be in military opposition to 'the Second Coming of Christ',
that is indeed what the 'battle of Armageddon' is supposed to be all about!
So if Christ actually DID come back, can we imagine Donald Trump
submitting himself to Jesus Christ's authority??? I think NOT---
and indeed many of Trump's supposedly Christian followers
now think of Trump as their Christ, and say that 'JESUS was TOO WOKE!'
These Old Testament verses suggest our modern MAGAts:
Daniel 11:21 (KJV): "And in his place shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honor of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably and obtain the kingdom by flatteries".
Daniel 11:23 (KJV): "And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people".
As such, I believe that ALL THREE categories might be considered true---
if you are one who believes in the Bible, which I don't necessarily anymore,
although I was raised on it---
but for those who claim to have more faith in it than I now do,
I am absolutely APPALLED that they fail to recognize this character from their own scriptures,
and instead support and indeed worship HIM, as opposed to their own supposed savior!
