But not when it is ignored or plainly offended against. For instance, nowhere in the Constitution does it give the President immunity from prosecution. That decision is completely against the intention of the Constitution.

Congress is in process of neutering the body in supplication to an autocrat so these days, the Constitution seems a little vaporous to me.
