General Discussion

The 1st ammendment clearly states the Government is not allowed to establish a national religion. This sure sounds like that is what he intends to do. I don't think it's because he is a believer himself but wants to fool people into believing he is heaven's messenger. Then again maybe he wants to hedge his bets, and he's trying to improve his chances of getting into heaven, if he thinks there's a chance God is real.

The Supreme Court should clearly declare this unconstitutional on it's face, but they won't. I clearly remember one of our local Bishops saying he didn't want the church to get involved with the government because then the government would want to dictate how churches were run. He sure called it, may he rest in peace.
