All Israeli governments seemed pretty much in line with the big survival picture whatever the approach, and the approach seems to be more consistent than otherwise for very inescapable reasons. Whenever something challenges the response has to be very aggressive, their allies kind of untrustworthy. The current government has developed an endgame response to a changing world that would dump them very naturally. The methods, inculcating villains you can set up, and responding with war crimes and overthrowing the US presidency, while hardball and not supported by all Israelis might in retrospect look very in line with the Christian Nationalist Armageddon spectator sport. Or it might grind on in hard-nosed sensible policies leading everyone to "inevitable" global collapse, if not extinction.

If it is moral and intelligent for undemocratic power brokers, it is utterly wasted on the reality of the situation. Most all humans have no say in it, except to kill each other. We all become terrorists. We all obey.
