4. I've never liked Ayman Moyheldin much. He's often taken extreme positions on Middle East issues.

But as you say, the enemy of your enemy is not necessarily your friend, so you have to choose wisely and not by knee-jerking. Loathing Trump doesn't mean one is obligated to support Iran, which has been a sponsor of terrorism for decades. Trump tore up the JCPOA which restricted Iran's nuclear program, probably because it was negotiated by Obama, and is using the lack of restrictions on Iran's nukes as an excuse to go to war, urged on by Netanyahu for his own purposes (like staying out of jail). I don't think it's difficult in the least to be appalled by Trump, Netanyahu and Iran all at the same time. We've got ourselves into another quagmire because we have shitty leaders, and Iran being Iran - that is to say, a country also run by incorrigible assholes - it won't end well, or soon.
