(17,445 posts)That's the first real question. Because the use of the term "better not" is not something people in Texas enjoy hearing.
Can we enjoy an important step forward in Texas for one day? Can we enjoy the fact that the turnout was the largest that it has been in TWENTY-FOUR years without being chastised for not listening more to one particular group of voters?
The second real question is - at this point what other choice is there than Talarico? He's the candidate now.
No one said '"shut up and stay in line". What everyone is saying is that IF we want long term possibilities of change, Talarico is the first step.
I saw several posts asking sunnyskies801 to explain what she meant and how she thinks Democrats should be more open to the opinions, etc. of Black women. I didn't see an explanation. Perhaps I missed it. At least one poster reminded her that Kamala Harris was the Presidential candidate. So, what is it that she wants? I'm open to hearing that.
