... and when we moved from Westport Connecticut to rural southern Berkshire County in Massachusetts in '57, I vividly recall my 4th grade teacher, Miss Garahan, scolding me and trying to make me write right-handed. My mother tore her a new one, and Miss Garahan never troubled me again.
