It's a lot easier to have a dictatorship if no one trust the government to do the right thing.

I mean the rise of ever dictator in modern history was because of corruption, mismanagement and negligence by the existing government in power.

Honestly, we are in a pretty precarious position if I'm are being honest. The Democrats will likely get one more shot at it but if they don't make headway on some of these issues, in which people see real progress and change for the better, our chances to fall into a dictatorship are nearly 100% in my opinion.
