Yesterday

He tried to be collegial and cordial when he should have been ruthlessly pulling up the Trumpist roots that had poisoned the soul of the federal government.

One of my painful memories of the Biden administration was how he let one Trumpie thug or ideologue after another without making any effort whatsoever to go over their activities with a fine-toothed comb and then prosecute them for malfeasance when they broke the law.
