Jill Stein is not an ally.

But Bernie Sanders is.

Zohran Mamdani is.

We need every vote we can get, and part of how we do that is by adopting a platform that reflects our principles and not (necessarily) being lockstep with our party.

Again - I am a good Democrat, but I want and expect changes in leadership. They can expect my vote, but they should act as though they must earn it.

To be clear, I resented BOTH Barack Obama and Bernie Sanders for hamstringing the campaign of my preferred candidate - Senator and Secretary Clinton. But that doesn't blind me to the damn good ideas of both Obama and Sanders.

Jill Stein? Nothing and nobody. Forget about her. She is a gadfly designed to divide us. Stop bringing her up.

Criticism with the intent to improve is healthy. I criticize our leaders. I dismiss the opposition. I don't want to help them. I'm not going to say Thune should employ X tactics or Y. I reserve the right, as a good Democrat and a reliable vote, to request Schumer do certain things.
