General Discussion

I can't find any news sources for what's going on. There's no one to research or report what the government won't disclose. Demonstrations aren't televised, neither is what happened to the demonstrators. i don't know whether there's a Congress anymore or whether my representatives are free or in jail. I can't find out if there's an election or where to vote. I don't know what wars my children and neighbors are being drafted for. i don't know if Trump is incoherent or dead or whose running the country. An internet blackout. Except for propaganda from the White House.

There's shooting at individual protesters (which is bad) and then there's shooting into crowds of protestors.
What Democratic leaders have been incarcerated?

I'm not being an optimist here. it's crazy that we got to this place. I know what could happen. I don't know how to stop it. However my life is pretty normal but for what I know from the media and the future I fear. I wish this was it. I wish this was as bad as it could get.

But I will treasure every bit of media and freedom we still have and hope that we can find a way to keep it.
