There once was Leavitt, quite stern,
At gestures she wouldn’t discern.
She scolded a crowd
Flipping fingers out loud,
Saying, “Such manners should never return!”

She waved an old photo around,
Of protesters with graffiti profound.
A car battered sore,
With words "FUCK ICE" aimed at ICE on the door—
“Disgraceful!” she scolded, red-faced and wound.

Yet critics all raised an eyebrow,
Recalling a clip from just now:
Her boss on the scene,
Not exactly serene,
With a finger and phrase to allow.

He’d told a heckler off twice,
With language not sugar nor nice.
So the crowd on the net
Didn’t soon let her forget,
That hypocrisy isn’t precise.

“Who’s going to tell her?” they cried,
On X where the snark did reside.
For the finger she feared
Had quite recently appeared—
From the desk on the Oval’s inside.
