Particularly in how Nazi state media pumped out lie after lie about Germans being mistreated by Austrian Social Democrats, then Sudetenland Czechs, then Poland in general.

Those imaginary demons in Hitler's propaganda have been succeeded by immigrants and trans folks in Trump's propaganda, which only has been made more fraudulent by an American media landscape that more and more resembles the Goebbels-driven Volkischer Beobachter than any media of a generation ago.
