How do you retroactively fire someone who's already quit? Obviously she doesn't want them to get their accrued vacation days, but if they've already submitted their resignations it's too late to fire them. Working for the US Attorney's office is a great job and nobody resigns unless for a very serious reason, and the whole point of those lawyers' jobs was to support law enforcement. They'd been doing it for years but finally decided that investigating the widow of a woman killed by law enforcement was a bridge too far. Pam Bondi can suck on it.
