To love is to hurt.

So, so twisted it's incredibly difficult to wrap one's head around.

The moment I finally experienced clarity about how these sick people operate, I had a deep overwhelming feeling of sadness combined with the urge to vomit.

It was something that changed me forever.

The knowledge that such individuals exist, who are so evil and who will never be redeemed, fundamentally destroyed my deep belief that benevolent behavior is achievable by anyone.

These people are always going to be evil and that will never change.

I lost my ability to trust people, to feel truly free and happy, in that moment, forever. It was like someone murdered Pollyanna. And she was me.
