1. Hard to know what numbers to believe. I think it was NPR that just did a shopping cost survey that showed...

...a grocery basket of like 100+ normal consumer things at Walmart was 5% more than this time last year. As always it depends on what YOU buy and where you are price sensitive but I tend to feel more like NPR has the right number for the average American's take on inflation. Of course Affordability is a hoax so who is really paying attention now that it's a non-issue.
