and other law enforcement around the country purposely targeting, often at close range, the faces of protestors and others with their "non-lethal" weapons and permanently blinding them. You can see all kinds of videos on You Tube from Black Lives Matter protests, George Floyd protests etc. ICE-American Gestapo just blinded a 21 year old on Friday night out in California. In the Land of the Free that is going rah-rah about the 250th "birthday" and supposed "freedom from tyranny".

Combined with the report from ProPublica about ICE-American Gestapo using illegal choke-holds and injuring people it is clear that the goons have morphed their activities to going after protestors with the intent to injure as opposed to being just about "immigration enforcement" as they claim. The actions of using these tactics of causing permanent blindness are not restricted to just the US. It is a tactic used in other places around the world as well.

Repressive regimes in Iran, Argentina, Chile etc. have a long history of blinding protestors. We need to realize where we are on the scale of state sanctioned barbarism. Whether it is torture, making excuses for torture, soldiers sodomizing prisoners, knowingly bombing civilians, choke hold restraints to the point of permanent injury or death etc. the brutality of the state is on full display around the world. Particularly glaring and galling is when this becomes SOP in a country that holds itself out as being all about the freedom to protest and speak out. ICE-American Gestapo is using rubber bullets etc. in Minneapolis.
