It was almost 40 years ago that I met him. Just a brief chat.
I don't know anything about his beliefs. I reserve judgement on Weir's activities until I read what was said.
Also, I'd probably take whatever was written with a grain of salt anyway...he had a book to sell.
He's likely talking about young groupies, who were well known to be obsessed with Weir.
But what happened with those groupies? I'll never know, and I wouldn't put 100% faith in anything that is written about him.
