(60,145 posts)leaves me not at all sure about your claims about what that book said - whether you're accurately representing what the book said. Or, even if you are, whether that author had any real information to back up what was said in the book.
I also want to point out that according to what I've read, any number of places over the years, it was common for underage groupies to have fake IDs - good enough IDs to get them into bars so they could pursue rock stars there. Which I have no trouble believing because I had teenaged friends with fake IDs (not groupies; they just wanted to get into bars).
I have no trouble believing that Bob was pursued by lots of women, some of them groupies. No trouble believing, either, that some of the groupies might have been under the age of consent.
But I don't have any reason to believe he "was with a lot of underaged girls" that he knew were underage.
