3. Too many options but still not what I suspect will happen.

I think there's a very high chance we'll have midterms and I believe we must fight very hard and talk to as many people as possible an do everything we can to have real deep conversations with people in hopes of eroding Trump's support. I believe the less popular Trump is in November the higher the chances of having fair midterms. No matter what though we're likely going to see additional hostilities and difficulties with voting. It's not going to be the conspiracy theory stuff about the machines and all that but it's going to be things like voter roll purges, gerrymandering in red states, sporadic threats and attacks and maybe intimidation from federal agents.

However and this is the really important part: we must ensure that everyone votes even those who believe the election will be unfair because large turnout is how you counteract unfair elections. We really need to drill in people's heads that voting is super important and everyone must do it even if it will be difficult for them (actually I think most people are going to still find voting to be easy). People should make a plan to vote and consider voting early in person if they have a chance. If the elections do turn out to be unfair it will make a lot of people upset because they knew they voted Democrat but it got changed to Republican. We'll hopefully demand better and demand fair elections if this happens.

In the past people have died for the right to vote. I don't think anyone in 2026 will need to do that. But we should remind people of our past and we must all vote to preserve our right to vote.

One thing I suggest if you're in a state that allows it please take a picture of your ballot so you have record of how you voted. In addition if you could get some kind of confirmation or receipt about how you voted that would be great too.
