The call of their people. Our wars brought home. I have to wash the anger off because they seem to love nothing better than to intimidate , beat or kill women. Several years ago I was at the Homeland Security Office / base renewing a boating permit. The officer was talking about a call they had received on the VHF radio while docked at a local Lake Erie island port known for flowing alcohol and wildness. Over the radio a woman’s voice called Homeland Security for help on a domestic violence issue. The officer related his disgust that she would have the nerve to call them for help. That was not his job. Mind you he is telling a woman this. I had to bite my tongue….the big bad terrorist hunter can’t help a Citizen in trouble. Too dangerous I guess! Beyond sad!
