If you've got a better one and, actually, tblue37 kindly pointed out that the firing on Fort Sumter is a better parallel please let me know.
The point I was making is that it will be a single action that will start the next Civil War. Wahl arresting this ICE agent could be it.
FWIW, to this day, no one knows for certain who fired that first shot at Lexington. Witnesses at the time reported that it was actually a militiaman, not the British, however.
