that first shot at Lexington. (Yes, I know, this was the start of the American Revolution, but I can't think of an equivalent incident for the Civil War. I welcome any input from history buffs here.)
Does Wahl (or Ellison) want to be the one who starts a second Civil War? Because that's exactly what that would be. And it's a pretty big ask of someone.
The ways things are proceeding, I do expect there to be a "first shot at Lexington" in the relatively near future.
What that's old Chinese curse? May you live in interesting times.
