2. I can agree somewhat with Lawrence there. Greenland is a helpful distraction for Russia's war against NATO

Gets NATO riled and focused on internal politics rather than Ukraine or any other Russian interest.

The other thing to remember is that the current US "Whites only" immigration policy is becoming a losing stand for the Cuban and Venezuelan naturalized and second generation citizens, which are still a large GOP voting block in Florida and a few other enclaves of "Anti-Communists".
It's all show.
