RFK unveils new dietary guidance for Americans: Here's what to know. [View all]
It's unhealthy, bassackwards and upside down. I would IGNORE these in favor of the prior ones (2020 - 2025) issued by QUALIFIED health experts.
"In November, Kennedy had promised to end the war on saturated fats in the U.S, the Hill reported. The stance was at odds with public health experts, who have advised that saturated fats make up a small part of peoples diet.
The guidance released Wednesday doesnt exactly encourage widespread consumption of saturated fats, but rather suggests Americans should choose whole-food sources of saturated fat. Meat, whole-fat diary and avocados all contain saturated fats.
The guidance says other options can include butter or beef tallow, despite previous recommendations to avoid those fats."
IF YOU EAT A LOT OF THIS CRAP, plan on being on statins for the rest of your life or having a stroke.
