So good to see this. --and the poster brings up some horrors of that day.

I am German and I watched the whole event 5 years ago on c-span, CNN and german TV. I wanted to see the normal procedures in the Capitol after the pressure from Trump and ended in the unfolding insurrection. I called my family and friends and they joined me. We are all witnesses.

Remembering the drama with the National Guard. There are so many things coming into my mind. The brave Officers, attacked from the Mob, standing alone against a big crowd with weapons and ZIP-ties.

That terrified and brave black officer on his own against a mob and that young man being crushed by them. All on record.

And Trump was in his tent with family and friends after his speech and ignored the calls and pretended, that he was not informed. Even the pictures showed, that they watched the news.
