Your framing is faulty.

I'm not familiar with anyone arguing that Trump is omnipotent.

There are plenty of people who argue that this regime has trashed many traditions and boundaries, and shows no real sign of being done with that project.

Somehow, "They decided for now to acquiesce in what the courts said," is not a terribly convincing response to the fact that the U.S. has been murdering people in small boats and, just the other day, kidnapped a head of state.

Being aware of things that very well may happen if matters continue as they have is hard for me to see as the "doomerism" you so roundly condemn. And again, "hasn't happened yet" does not prove that it won't happen. If you think that your list of four victories for the Resistance constitutes some sort of proof that the arc is bending in the right direction, I'd have to wonder who it is that's lost touch with reality.
