They could at least read the Constitution while they wipe their asses with it.
If they don’t know soldiers do not follow illegal orders, is there no more dire reason why they shouldn’t be in charge of the “Most Lethal Fighting Force Ever Assembled”? Is there any reason any of us should live within the bounds of The Law then? The mis-Administration certainly does not.
It’s easier to give yourself forgiveness than to ask for permission.
