9. Even before they became Sinclair, I made it a point to never watch their news

Ages ago I promised another DUer that I'd avoid Channel 6 news after she told me that their top anchorwoman gave her brother a hard time. His band had been hired to play at a local event and because she wanted silence when it became her turn to broadcast, she demanded that they stopped playing.

Growing up, Channel 13 news was usually on at my house, Chris Jansing now of MS NOW was the co-anchor. Though my favorite weather guy is on Channel 10. He hosts a weekly pet adoption segment and that's where I got my beloved dog, Barney.
