lot of people important to me are still on X but not Bluesky, or are posting much more on X, and I'm not going to demand that they post something on Bluesky before I pay attention to it, respond to it or repost it.

I'll usually look for a Bluesky copy of a message to post on DU even if I see it first on X, but if it's something DUers should know about and it hasn't been posted on Bluesky, I'll post the X message, out of respect for the person who posted the message, and out of respect for the many DUers who still use X and are likely to want to respond there.
