The two deaths were because of fireworks misadventures.

The cause of the church fire is unknown. The structure will likely be saved, but the spire will have to be rebuilt.

Bands of violent thugs hurdled petroleum bottles with lit fuses. Their targets were police.

Gangs of rowdy males fought with one another.

The violence was said to be rampant.
