You consult with your foreign ministry, asking, “OK, forget the hype, what’s this guy REALLY about?”
Then you get shown this string. I’d be reading and re-reading this string in total disbelief, and asking if there’s any way I can get out of making this trip? Any excuse will do. I had a scheduling problem with my royal manicurist, anything.
