You get a very different understanding performing than viewing (living with the stories 20-24 hours a week for 6-8 weeks). Between the two (we did Scrooge first), I would have said Scrooge. I hadn't seen it before performing, and there were less of slightly different takes on the story that I liked. But performing Christmas carol, I fell in love with that one, to.

I do like how Christmas Carol handles the ghosts better (especially the Ghost of Christmas Future) - I played that role in both. As a method actor, that role is juicier in Christmas Carol.
