from sex and drug parties that have both been rumored and explicitly talked about by the R's who took part, to sheltering the worst of the worst of mankind - people who rape and kill children. They all have a part in it. They're not about to turn anyone in, or testify against anyone because someone could turn around and do the same to them.

The only thing that could be done is getting them out of politics and public life altogether. But that would mean the rank and file "common man" republicans would have to grow backbones and admit their part in being... at least duped... by all these people. I don't think they're going to do anything like that. It's hard enough for a person to admit any kind of mistake, let alone being taken advantage of like the Magas have been used. Instead, they'll fight tooth and nail to disprove everything, because their emotional state won't allow anything else. And remember, THESE people are the ones who are so self-righteous about going to church all the time!
