Her association with the shady publicist has tainted this story. But I have a friend who contacted the court after the last suit was dropped and the judge's assistant told her there had been a payoff to Katie Johnson. The assistant was probably telling more than she should have. I really trust this friend. My friend was horrified that the story was going to disappear and felt compelled to dig in to it personally. She asked why they let this criminal behavior just drop simply because there had been a pay off and was told they don't pursue criminal behavior on their own without someone pushing for an investigation.
