General Discussion

First of all, I live in Vermont. This means I have no knowledge of Texas other than what I read.

I am not a bot, but a liberal woman born in Indiana, then lived in NJ in an old money Republican county, then moved to VT. I am real and I've posted here since 2005.

My concern is that the very things that make her a DU favorite could make her a Democratic version of Ted Akin. She could maybe win a Senate nomination if she lived in Vermont and remotely possible that she could win in NJ. Texas will be very very tough for any Democrat.

I remember the excitement here when Beto O'rocke and then Allred seemed to have a chance. I wish that there was polling asking people who they would definitely, possibly or never vote for in the general election. That would be what would be needed to assess whether she is a riskier candidate than others.

However, I HATE this over the top video that smears everyone supporting another candidate and giving ANY reason why they prefer their candidate. People here could look through threads and some of the people whose comments would be attacked by this video are people whose posts I have long respected.
