(42,955 posts)46. I continued watching The West Wing, amazed at how much story credit Lawrence O'Donnell gets in the first three seasons.
In one episode, President Bartlett (Martin Sheen) has a flashback about a conversation between his younger self and his father, played by a younger Lawrence O'Donnell (Jed Bartlett, Sr). Over a moral point, the father smacks Jed upside for his failure to do the right thing. It was weirdly cool and shocking to see LOD as a character who'd even do that.
Netflix has recently added all seven seasons, and I highly recommend another look at how the president, chief of staff and communications wing of the WH, can work for the good of The People. Its multiple plots, character growth, humor and wit remind us that we must fight to GOTV and return wise and moral people to The People's house.

Watched old episodes of Doctor Who. I was never a fan. Low production values, overall general silliness.
