13. She was and still is in little patches of mental clarity very smart. She does not need to be talked down to.

Occasionally on more complex topics she can go right to the heart of the issue. I try very very very
hard to keep her happy. She liked the clementine orange sections and pieces of cantaloupe on
toothpicks tonight and remembered those exact fruits 1/2 an hour after she ate them and told me
to clean up some dropped toothpicks that fell of her plate as I was moving it.
