Did President Trump post on his Truth Social account that Jesus told him that "my father is happy that you're making America Great Again." No, that's not true: There is no post on Donald Trump's Truth Social timeline in which the phrase "my father is happy that you're making America Great Again" appears. Lead Stories could find no evidence the president ever made this statement.

The claim appeared in a post (archived here) on Threads shared on December 13, 2025 under the title "Jesus fuckin Christ... we're so fucked..". The text in the fake post read:

You know, I've known Jesus for a long time. He often says, 'Donald Trump, we are really close friends and my father is happy that you're making America Great Again. It's my favorite country.' When he saved my ear from the bullet he whispered in my ear, the one that was saved, and said, "The whole world owes you a debt of gratitude for being so Christian and having perfect morals.

A search of @realDonaldTrump account on Truth Social for the phrase "my father is happy that you're making America Great Again" found "No matching Truths."
